Alina DeJesus is a first-generation college graduate and aspiring theatre educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and technology and Texas EC-12 Theatre Teacher Certification from Texas A&M University Corpus-Christi. She has experience in multiple areas of technician production, including costume construction, props, hair and makeup design, and marketing. Alina has worked professionally as a costume technician with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and served as Marketing Director for Nightshade Immersive Theatre.

As an educator, Alina is committed to creating meaningful, student-centered learning experiences through hands-on instruction, and project-based learning. She believes students learn best by actively engaging in the creative-process and collaborating with others and applying classroom concepts to theatrical productions.
